This is a rough write up of a concept about a guy who thinks he has super powers but doesn't. I want to make it kid appropriate and I'm interested in knowing what kids of all ages think As a note it written in _script_ format since one day if it is good enough I can make it into a short film Let me know what you think!!

Opening Scene
-- A medium sized balding guy in his 30s is standing next to a TV and he is in a super hero pose with his fists planted in his love handles standing with his back straight up like a board. He has a towel over his shoulders that looks like a makeshift cape.

Super Dork "Hello! My name is Captain Adventure and yes I am a super hero! I am about to show you my heroic adventures! Beware, you are about to behold my awesome power and what you see will amaze and shock you! You are warned! Enjoy!"

He turns on the TV and hits play on the VCR and watches it and returns with his fists on his love handles pose.

shot of him walking on the street in normal clothes with his eyes shifting back and forth like he is looking for trouble. In an effort to try to look like he is doing a normal walk he has an odd strut and looks really out of place and uncomfortable.

After about 5 seconds of walking he sees a little girl in the distance crying (maybe around 8?) An alert _expression_ crosses his face and he jumps into the bush but misses jumping behind it and lands on top of it. He yells OW! and falls over the side and behind the bush and keeps saying stuff like "ow that really hurt, stupid bush!!" The bush is also way too small to cover up what he is doing as he pulls out a towel and puts it on his back as a cape. He rushes over to the girl.

SD "Little Miss, what seems to be your peril?"
Girl "Huh? Who the heck are you?"
SD "I'm here to save you!"
Girl "Mister if you don't leave me alone I'm going to scream!!"
SD "No don't do that!" -- he waves his hands frantically trying to keep her hushed
Girl "Are you okay Mister? and what's with that towel?"
SD "Don't let the intensity of my costume overwhelm you little lady, but why were you crying?"
Girl "I missed my school bus and there it goes" The girl points and a little ways in the distance a bus is stopped picking up kids. It finishes the pickup and starts down the road slowly.
SD "Don't worry, I'll save you! With my super speed I can catch that bus in a jiffy!"

He starts running after the bus with a very serious look on his face and is putting a lot of pained effort into his running to make it look intense.

Shot goes to the school bus slowly driving away in the distance.

Shot goes back to SD showing him getting really winded and wiping sweat off his forhead

Shot back to the bus quickly and it doesn't seem to be any closer than it was before

Shot back to him and he looks about ready to collapse from exhaustion

Shot back to the bus and it is even farther in the distance slowly moving away

Shot back to him and he's on the ground crawling

Shot back to the bus and it takes a left turn in the distance

Shot back to him and passed out. In the distance someone screams "Someone call 911, a homeless man has just passed out!"

Shot back to SD home theater with the TV in the background. SD has a red face and says "Well that didn't turn out how I had planned but at least the girl is safe from that evil school bus and its harmful emissions!"
